- Avoid misleading pricing or false claims
Fake profiles, false reviews, or misrepresentation will result in account suspension or permanent removal.
2. Be Professional
Rentloud connects real people for real work. Professional behavior is required at all times. Users must:
- Communicate respectfully
- Respond clearly and politely
- Honor agreed timelines
- Deliver services as promised
Unprofessional conduct may result in penalties including account suspension.
3. Respect & Safety
We do not tolerate:
- Harassment of any kind
- Discrimination based on race, gender, religion, or background
- Threats or intimidation
- Verbal or physical abuse
- Exploitation or unsafe behavior
Clients and workers must treat each other with dignity at all times.
If you feel unsafe, report it immediately through the platform or contact our support team.
4. No Fraud or Scamming
The following are strictly prohibited:
- Asking for or accepting payment outside the Rentloud escrow system
- Attempting to bypass platform safeguards
- Submitting fake payment confirmations
- Impersonating another person or business
- Using stolen or unauthorised financial details
Fraudulent activity may result in a permanent ban and possible legal action.
5. Use the Escrow System Properly
Rentloud uses an escrow payment system to protect both clients and workers:
- Clients must fund jobs before work begins (where required)
- Workers must complete the agreed work before requesting fund release
- Both parties must act honestly during dispute reviews
Manipulating the escrow process is a serious violation and will result in immediate account action.
6. Keep Communication on the Platform
For the safety and transparency of all parties, users must:
- Keep all job-related discussions within Rentloud messaging
- Avoid moving conversations off-platform to circumvent escrow
Off-platform deals remove all protections Rentloud provides and may result in loss of any right to dispute resolution.
7. No Illegal Activities
You may not use Rentloud to:
- Offer or solicit illegal services
- Engage in any form of criminal activity
- Violate Nigerian laws or regulations
- Facilitate harmful, dangerous, or unsafe work
Accounts involved in illegal activities will be suspended or permanently removed, and relevant authorities may be notified.
8. Respect Privacy
All users must:
- Protect the personal information of others
- Not share another user's data without their explicit consent
- Not misuse identity documents or verification materials
Privacy violations may lead to immediate account suspension.
9. Quality & Accountability
Workers
- Deliver work that meets the agreed standards
- Communicate delays honestly and promptly
- Fix legitimate mistakes where reasonable
Clients
- Provide clear and complete job instructions
- Allow a reasonable timeframe for completion
- Confirm job satisfaction honestly and fairly
10. Reporting Violations
If you witness behavior that violates these guidelines:
- Report it through the platform immediately
- Contact our support team with relevant details
Rentloud reserves the right to investigate all reports and take appropriate action.
11. Enforcement
Violations of these guidelines may result in:
- Formal warnings
- Temporary account suspension
- Permanent account ban
- Escrow hold or review
- Legal action where necessary
Rentloud's decision on enforcement actions is final.
